I have printed all the bits to put together for the invites to our wedding….wish we could invite all of you lovely bloggers!
I so love doing DTP work…it pleases me no end! I have even mail merged everything so we don’t have to hand write a thing. The envelopes look fab, love this laser printer although it really didn’t like the card I was using and it kept getting stuck and curling it up so I had to go upstairs and use the posh photo printer. Talking of warm, the laser printer sealed all the envelopes in the heat so I had to stand there as each one came out and unseal it before it cooled down. I got a good rhythm going lol!
I’ll take some pictures of the cards when I have assembled them, I hope they look as good as my mind imagines they will.
Have a good weekend won’t you? We are aiming for a ‘take it as it comes’ weekend. Somehow I have lost a day this week, how did that happen? It honestly feels like Thursday today, not Friday at all!
That’s so great being able to make your invitations. In the “old days” before everyone had computers I wrote out my own wedding invitations with calligraphy. Thankfully we had a very small wedding so I didn’t have too many to do. I would have given anything to have had a computer to make them. Boy the times really have changed. Enjoy 🙂
Hah, I’m always losing days!Have a fabulous weekend whatever you end up doing!
DTP is so satisfying isn’t it? Your printer sounds far better than mine, though. Sorry to hear about losing a day, I hate it when that happens. But I actually “found” a day this week, when I was too unwell to do what I’d normally do that dye but well enough to handpaint yarn. Hope all the assembly goes really well. Will you have a live webcam broacast from your wedding [vbg]?
You mean we AREN’T invited??? I’d already bought my hat!(LOL!!)you must take some photos and show us; i’m sure the invites will be beautiful. Have a great weekend and don’t forget to plant up some Size 12s 🙂
Oooh, yes please! Take pictures — I’d love to see the invitations!
