Hey Marco!

Barry took this shot of me, I love it for some reason….I can remember the fun I was feeling at the time it was taken, I also love the fact that it shows the location of our room in the Hotel. I loved listening to the Gondolas passing by our room every morning, some of them had accordians playing but my favourite was listening to the wonderful Italian male voices singing songs that I recognised. It was so very romantic…….

Meet Marco…after our amazing ride on a Gondola, we went to the nearby bridge and I called out ‘Hey, Marco!’ and our Gondolia turned and waved to us! He had told us so many interesting facts about Venice as we ambled our way around the narrow canals, not sure I could recall any now mind you!

The slideshow below is of all the photos I took on our very romantic, beautiful, interesting and VERY expensive ride on a Gondola….all but one shot, the penultimate was taken by Marco’s colleague.
