I have been….

I have been:-

designing this little jacket
knitting these cute little dungarees
and these Target Socks for Barry
and this Roaring Meg cardigan for Emilia
spinning this lovely merino fibre
having lunch with Antonio Carluccio in Ely Cathedral
and having tea in Toppings Bookshop in Ely with my special friend Andrea
(Ely Cathedral in the background!)
what have you been up to?

About picperfic

I dye luxurious fibre blends for spinners and felters, and sew beautiful bags, project bags and needle/hook organisers to a very high standard, using designer fabrics and then I photograph them!

Oh my! I want that little hoodie jacket in MY size! (and the pants). Can you imagine. That would actually be kind of funny.Great socks and little knits. It looks like you've been having a marvelous time.

All I've managed on the knitting front is to finish a very straightforward cushion cover and sew it up plus buttons! Absolutely no competition from over here …

Ohmygosh, you've been busy! I LOVE that adorable baby set you've been working on. And it could be that I've seen the future and knew that your picture from the book shop was going to be posted, but I really think some other blog that I read posted a picture from that exact spot in the last week or two? Must be a beautiful place!

you have just exhausted me for the day/week. It's nice to see all those finished projects. Love it all. I'm just not producing anything. Been in a funk I think. Messed my back up this weekend somehow. Boy does it hurt. Just getting old and out of shape. Actually housework will kill you!Have a great week. It always brightens my day to see a post from you!

I love that spot for a coffee! Since they opened up the top floor in Toppings, it's such a nice place to sit – the veiw is incredible. Lovely knitting, too!

Oh, Marianne, they are absolutely amazing. You are so clever to have designed them!!The two pieces are just so cute and cozy. How does the sock work out? THe multi-coloured yarn really does work well, doesn't it? Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

  11. What a lot of beautiful knitting – and beautiful people!

I've been busy certainly not as productive as you!

  13. Dang. No Cathedrals here, but I have been doing special weekends for 2 months. One more weekend and then I can stay in my own town for 3 full days!!!However, Milwaukee was just wonderful. They sure do get a bad rep but we found great food, cute neighborhoods, and the art Museum. Which is just plain cool to look at from outside. Never mind the Warhol exhibit we caught inside!!!Next Friday we camp in a tent but it is not supposed to be cold (right now it's rainy and windy and wool-coat cold). Then I'm DONE!!!I want to return to Milwaukee, though. Not in 2009, I'm wiped out from that idea, but soon…And I'm knitting 3-color socks… the Hot Waves I designed that are in the Joy of Sox book; and my One World Turkish style socks. Color can make me smile even with this weather!Hugs,LynnH
